Chef Lanny started out as a humble student with great hopes and dreams for her future as a chef. She graduated as an honours student from George Brown college in Culinary Management, obtained her Red Seal and dove head first into the world of food. Her journey has taken her to the Hilton Toronto, Four Season Hotel in Toronto, Windsor Arms Hotel, Le Select Bistro, Le Papillon French Restaurant, Shanghai International Airport Hotel… and the list goes on! While passionately cooking her way through the ranks, she has won a number of awards such as the 2010 Employee of the Year at Hilton Toronto, the 2006 Gold Medal Winner in the Gala Dinner Category and the CCFCC Culinary Salon to name a few. And after over 10 years of experience in casual to fine dining, low to high profile catering, and always high volume banquet , chef Lanny is starting a new chapter. The Mission Eatery.
